Question Answer
A force is a push, pull or twist. Forces are measured in Newton's (N)
We use a Newton-meter (spring balance) to measure the size of a force Forces are represented as arrows; and the direction of the force by the direction of the arrow
Unbalanced forces do three different things: 1. Change the speed; gets faster or slower 2. Change the direction; an object on the end of a rope in a circle 3. Change the shape; squeezing a sponge Unbalanced forces have a result on an object; it makes them change their speed. Therefore, it is known as the resultant force
