What is a input device? It is where a device sends data to a computer, allowing you to interact and control it.
what is a output device? An output device is any device used to send data from a computer to another device or user.
What is a storage device? A piece of computer equipment on which information can be stored.

What is the purpose of a power supply? The power supply unit is the piece of hardware that's used to convert the power provided from the outlet into usable power for the many parts inside the computer case.
What is the purpose of the computer case? A computer case helps protect the main components and helps keep it cool.
What is the purpose of the motherboard? The motherboard sends messages to all the components inside the computer.
What is the purpose of the processor? The processor is where all the processes are carried out.
What is the purpose of the RAM? The ram (random access memory is where the computer stores the current task that s being carried out.
What is the purpose of the ROM? Stores a program used to boot up the computer. This is called the bootstrap loader.
What is the purpose of the hardrive? The hard drive stores all documents, pictures and programs.
What is a repetitive strain injury (RTI) and what causes them? It is damage to the fingers and wrists caused by doing something repetitively for a long amount of time.
What are the causes of back injuries when using a computer? The cause of back injures is poor posture and awkward sitting.
What is eye strain and what is the cause? Eye strain is when you look at something for a long period of time and it damages your eyes. It is caused by staring at a computer.
By law, what do employers have to provide for their employees? (in regards to working with computers) They have to provide backrests, tiltable screens, sutible lighting and frequent breaks.
What is the purpose of Binary? Computers communicate, store and share data using 1's and 0's.
How many bits are in a Binary number? There are 8 bits in Binary.
