What are the two part of the nervous system? The central nervous system (cns) Peripheral nervous system (pns)
What the central nervous system made up of? Cns is made up of your brain and the spinal cord
What the cns receives information from? The cns receives information from all over the body,processes that information, and then send out the message telling the body how to respond.
What is pns made up of? Pns is made up of the nerves that carry messages to and from the cns and other part of your body.
What is neurons? Neurons are specialised cell that transmit electrical messages from the one part of your body to another at very high speed.
What are two type of neurons and there function? 1-motor neurons-carry message from the CNS to effector 2-sensory neurons-nerve cells that carry messages from cells in the sense organs to the cns.
What neurotransmitter carries? Carries the message from the axon of one neuron to the dendrite of the next neuron.
How much neurons in the humans brain? The human brain contains about 100 billion neurons
What are the two part the cerebrum made up? It called the right and left cerebral hemispheres.The left side of your body and the left hemisphere controls the right of your body The left side has more control over language and logical thinking such as mathematical ability. The right side is the more creative and emotional side.
