| What is white light made up of? | It is made up of all the colours of the rainbow. |
| What is Dispersion? | The separation of white light. When white light passes through a different medium (glass, water), refraction takes place as the colours do not have the same velocity so they separate. Thus the rainbow. |
| What is refraction? | The bending of light. The less molecules, the faster light travels so the bigger the angle. The more the molecules, the slower light travels, so the smaller the angle. |
