Perfect Square A number that is created by multiplying a number by itself Eg. 4x4 = 16
Prime Only factors are one and itself Eg 2,3,5
Composite Has more factors than 1 and itself Eg 6,8,9
Factor Number to divide in evenly Eg 12 > 3,4,6,2,1,12 (finite)
Multiple Skip counting Eg 12 > 12,24,36... (infinite
Prime Factorization To write a number in terms only of prime numbers Eg. Number tree
Pythagorean Theorem The formula that solves a right angle triangle when you know two sides. a(2) + b(2) = c(2)
Hypotenuse The longest side of a right triangle, opposite the right angle, always "c" in the formula
Legs Other two sides of right triangle, does not matter if "a" or "b"
