MAR | memory address register holds the address of where the data is to be fetched or stored |
MDR | memory data register holds the data fetched from, or to be written in memory |
ACC | accumulator holds the results of calcualtions |

clockspeed | number of instructions you could get in a given time. |
core | recieves instructions and acts upon them |
embedded system | a computer system with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system |
