What was the Castilla economic based on? On the wool industry.
What was the Mesta? The Mesta was an organization that gathered all the sheep owners, this way they supervised the migration of sheep.
What was the civil war that happened after Henry IV die? How long did it last? It was a War of Succession, because both his sister Isabel and his daughter Juana claimed their rights to be the successor. Portugal helped Juana and Aragón Isabel. It lasted 5 years and finally Isabel was claimed the Queen.
What was the main activity in Aragón? The commercial activity.
Why was it a dinasty union between Aragón and Castilla? And did each kingdom have the same laws? Because Isabel and Fernando married, but each kingdom had it owns laws and institutions.
What institutions did they create to bring peace to the kingdom? Describe each one. - The Holy Brotherhood: a judicial force to fight against bandicts and abuses from the nobility. - The Royal Council: the highest judicial body and the royal bank. - They appointed magistrates to stablish royal authority in the towns and took power from the nobels. - They created a permanent army.
