Question Answer
Cells' parts, structure and function There are many parts in cells. Each part has a structure and function. I will list each one as we go along 1 card=1 structure and function
Cell Membrane Its a barrier that controls what can come in or out of the cell
Cytoplasm The cytoplasm is the part that where chemical reactions take place
Nucleus This is the part of the cell that contains genetic material
Mitochondrion Where the respiration of the cell begins
Cell Wall This is the wall of the cell that strengthens it and provides support
Chloroplast It is where the photosynthesis happens.
Vacuole This is the part of the cell that contains a watery liquid called cell sap. It keeps the cell firm
There all in plant cells and animal cells. More of the parts of cells listed are mostly in plants I will be listing each structure and on the other side which cell it is in. Some structures can be in both
Cell Membrane Both cells (Plant & Animal cells)
Cytoplasm Both Cells
Nucleus Both Cells
Mitochondrion Both Cells
Cell Wall Only Plant Cells
Chloroplast Only Plant Cells
Vacuole Only Plant Cells
The End
