Cells' parts, structure and function | There are many parts in cells. Each part has a structure and function. I will list each one as we go along 1 card=1 structure and function |
Cell Membrane | Its a barrier that controls what can come in or out of the cell |
Cytoplasm | The cytoplasm is the part that where chemical reactions take place |
Nucleus | This is the part of the cell that contains genetic material |

Vacuole | This is the part of the cell that contains a watery liquid called cell sap. It keeps the cell firm |
There all in plant cells and animal cells. More of the parts of cells listed are mostly in plants | I will be listing each structure and on the other side which cell it is in. Some structures can be in both |
Cell Membrane | Both cells (Plant & Animal cells) |
Cytoplasm | Both Cells |
Nucleus | Both Cells |
Mitochondrion | Both Cells |
Cell Wall | Only Plant Cells |
Chloroplast | Only Plant Cells |
Vacuole | Only Plant Cells |
