Church of England, Roman catholic church opinions on divorce church of England-allow divorce and can be seen as the lesser of 2 evils Roman catholic church-does not allow divorce as it is a sacrament and a gift from God, they can separate but not remarry
Cohabitation definition Cohabitation is where a couple will live together before getting married
2 arguments to support cohabitation it gives the couple a trial of living together and being around each other before making the commitment to each other Society is more accepting of cohabitation, therefore, more religious believers are now supporting it
2 arguments against cohabitaion being married has more legal protection Roman catholic and CoE Christians oppose cohabitation because they believe sex should take place after marriage
polygamy definition the practice or custom of having more than one wife or husband at the same time
2 similarities between Christian and Muslim views on polygamy Both have a history of polygamy in the religions histroy[muhammed,moses] Both have rules of a polygamy marriage
2 differences between Christian and Muslim views on polygamy Jesus taught to have one woman and one man, however, Islam allows a man to have more than 1 wife Gods intention was to have 1 partner, Islam belives in many partners
