What is peace? Peace is an absence of conflict which leads to happiness and harmony.
What is justice? Justice is bringing about what is right, fair, according to the law or making up for what has been done wrong.
What is the Sanctity of Life? The Sanctity of Life is the idea that life is sacred and God-given.
What is pacifism? Pacifism is a belief of people who refuse to take part in war and any other form of violence.
What are Quakers? Quakers are members of the Society of Friends, a Christian denomination.
What is a Just War? A Just War is a war which the Christian Church defines as acceptable. It has to fit a certain criteria.
What is a Holy War? A Holy War is a war fought for a religious cause or a war led by God or a religious leader.
What are refugees? Refugees are people who flee from their homes seeking safety elsewhere.
What is the Red Cross? The Red Cross is a humanitarian agency that helps people suffering from war or other disasters as a neutral helper.
What is the Red Crescent? The Red Crescent are the same the Red Cross. National Red Crescent societies are found predominantly in Muslim countries.
What are the United Nations? The UN are an organization set up at the end of World War II to prevent war by discussing problems between countries diplomatically.
What is NATO? NATO is the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, an alliance formed to prevent war in Europe.
What are WMD's? Weapons of Mass Destruction are weapons that can kill large numbers of people and/or cause great damage.
What is Proliferation? Proliferation means spreading to other countries and getting more numerous.
