Sori Small clusters on the underside of fronds in which spores are produced.

Hermaphroditic flowers Flowers in which both the male and female reproductive systems are located in the same flower.
Inflorescence A group of hermaphroditic flowers that grow from the same stem.
Ovary The part of the pistil containing the ovules.
Ovule A female reproductive cell of a plant, which a male cell fertilises to produce an embryo.
Petiole The stalk that joins a leaf to a stem.
Pistil The female, ovule-producing part of a flower.
Pollen Grains that are located inside a flower’s stamen and contain the male cells.
Stamen The male, pollen-producing part of a flower.
Stigma The part of a pistil that receives the pollen.
