MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET (MSDS) Replaced by safety data sheet. Info compiled by by the manufacturer about product safety, including the names of hazardous ingredients, safe handling and uses procedures, precautions to reduce the risk of accidental harm or overexposure and flammability warnings.
MILDEW A type of fungus that affects plants or grows on inanimate objects, but does not cause human infections in the salon.
PARASITIC DISEASE Disease caused by parasites, such as lice and mites.
PHENOLIC DISINFECTANTS Powerful tuberculocidal disinfectants. Form of formaldehyde, have a very high pH, can damage the skin and eyes.
PHYSICAL PRESENTATION Your posture, as well as the way you walk and move.
PROFESSIONAL IMAGE The impression you project through both your outward appearance and your conduct in the workplace.
QUATERNARY AMMONIUM COMPOUNDS “QUATS” products made of quaternary ammonium cations and are designed for disinfection on non porous surfaces. Appropriate for non-invasive environments and effective against most pathogens of concern in salon environment.
