Habitual toe walkers become fatigued whereas congenital toe walkers don't, true or false? True
How do you assess toe walking... Neurological assessments (coordination/reflexes). Behavioural hx (autism). Biomechanics ROM (qom,som,dom,rom).
Normal ankle ROM for a child should be... 10-20 degrees past 90
How would you treat idiopathic toe walkers? Stiff soled shoe. Cast or splint. Tenotomy (percutaneous lengthening).
