What did this mainly deal with? With the Persian wars of 490-480 BC, which was fought between the Greek city-states and Persia (modern day Iran).

Who writes about the Persian wars in his tragedy, The Persians? Aeschylus
Who is Publius (or Gaius) Cornelius Tacitus? He lived from 56 to 120 AD and was probably Rome's greatest historian.
What did he first study? He first studied rhetoric, or the art of influencing people through public speaking.
Who did he marry? Julia, the daughter of the famous Roman general Agricola.
When did Tacitus enter politics? In 81 or 82 AD and began to rise in prominence.

What are Linguists experts at and how can they help historians? They are experts in the features and structures of languages. They can help historians interpret the meanings of sentences in written sources.
What do Conservators do? They ensure that material evidence is stored in such a way that it survives.
