Why do we need it? we need to keep supplying our active muscles with energy to get rid of and waste products during long periods of activities that you have to work your whole body hard, our ability to do this depends on the efficiency of heart, lungs and blood vessels.
Definition "Our maximum stamina or aerobic capacity is also called our VO2 max. This is the maximum amount of oxygen that can be transported to, and used by, our working muscles during excercise."
