What is a compound? A compound is a pure substance consisting of two or more elements that have been chemically combined
How can compounds be formed? Compounds can be formed by chemically combining: elements, elements & compounds and compounds
What is a molecule? A molecule is made up of 2 or more atoms of the same kind or different kinds, chemically combined together.
How many types of molecules are there and what are there names? There are 2 types of molecules and there names are molecules of elements and molecules of compounds.
Define molecules of elements These consist of a fixed number of one kind of atom only
Define molecules of compounds These consist of a fixed number of 2 or more different kinds of atoms chemically combined together.
