Point 1- One-sided love (When we two parted) -Both Byran and Browning express their thoughts towards the relationship -In 'when we two parted' ambiguity is used, 'half-broken hearted' . This could be either show how one was broken hearted and the other had little interest, or both were partially broken hearted. Both interpretations, however, suggest the theme of an unequal relationship. Taking into consideration that Byron was very much aware of how we was perceived in the public eye, it is likely that Byron was broken-hearted as he victimizes himself and paints himself as the passive victim .
