                          2. Received the title of Thane of Cawdor & Glamis
                            1. Macbeth was already Thane of Glamis from before the battle against McDonwald, but became Thane of Cawdor after Macbeth won the battle
                          3. Dialogue/Solilqquy
                            1. "Let not light see my black and deep desires; The eye wink at the hand; yet let that be Which the eye fears, when it is done, to see." (act 1, scene 4, 51-53)
                              1. The quote is very important to the play because in this quote he admits that he wants to kingship
                              2. "We will proceed no further in this business: He hath honour'd me of late; and I have bought Golden opinions from all sorts of people, Which would be worn now in their newest gloss, Not cast aside so soon." (act 1, scene 7, 31-35)
                                1. Here Macbeth tries and tells Lady Macbeth that he will proceed with the murder of Duncan. Until later being convinced regardless

                                  1. Once Macbeth became king he fell in love with power, he killed anyone he even suspected of being able to ending kingship/kill him
                                  2. Dislikes: People that don't mind their own business
                                    1. Macbeth murdered many people, some for not even doing anything but simply because they were related to someone who has.
