• This goal is related to the digital content that I already consume. I do a lot of reading online on the topics of art, literature, politics, and news. I plan to extend this readnig more into the area of education. Instead of reading these articles as another part of my daily digital content, I'd like to make a more pointed effort to explore the education sections of each of these resources.

• While the system I have created for my writing classes works well, I would really like to venture into the more progressive territory of student assessment and digital tools. Thus, I am planning to make all my classes next semester paperless through the use of Turnitin.com

3. Collaborate with other writing teachers for advice

• This goal will require me to increase my awareness of the online community devoted to education. I have begun following several experts in the field on Twitter, but plan to begin following several acclaimed educational blogs as well.

• In my writing classes especially, I still tend to adopt a style of teaching that is traditional and lecture-based. I want to learn how to teach writing in a way that encourages student-centeredness.
