Referral to right chest, left jaw, sternal chest, left arm, epigastric region, and mid-back
Once "ruled in" for an MI
Keep the pt. stable and optimize wound healing of myocardium
Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty
Low intensity ambulation for 1-2 weeks and then exercise
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
Much longer rehab period
Energy conservation
Sternal precautions
Posture, scapular retraction, fxnl shoulder movement
Saphenous vein, radial artery, internal mammillary artery
