Make sure that lights are securely fitted to their stands
This makes sure they do not fall during production, which could cause accidents
Such as damage to equipment and harm to actors
Make sure lights are a safe distance away from the actors
This reduces heat and blindness
It also ensures that the actors will not trip on the wires
Ensure all electrical cables are taped down
Reduces risk of tripping
Let the lights cool down
Reduces burning
Less prone to damage of the bulb
Fire exits
Don't block them!
If a fire or emergency should arise, it makes it easier to leave the building
