Resource summary

Refraction
  1. Refraction is the bending of light which occurs when it enters a different medium
    1. Light travels at different speeds in different media e.g. it is slower in a glass and water than what it is inside a vaccum
      1. Media in which light travels slower are aid to be optically dense
        1. It is the changing of speed which causes light to refract
          1. When light enters a more optically dense material it refracts towards the normal
            1. When light exists a more optically dense material it refracts away from the normal
