2. Trying to stop people from doing certain actions
Terrorism
1. Trying to correct an injustice by using a force against others
2. Unofficial/ unauthorised use of violence and intimidation in the suit of political aims
Bible Wars
1. Stories of wars fought in the old testament
2. God commanding people to fight
3. E.G: Joshua against Jehrico, King David as a famous warrior
4. Outlook to the future of peace
Holy Wars
1. Fighting in the name of your religion
2. E.G: Freeing Jerusalem from Muslims
3. Now seen as wrong
Just War
1. A war fought for a justified cause
2. Conditions
  1. Must cause no or little harm to civilians (don't target them)
  2. Must be started by the government or the UN
  3. Should be a reasonable chance of success
3. Theory created in 13th century by St. Thomas
4. Most Christians agree with this principle
  1. Some agree with drone strikes as they are targeted at certain areas
  2. Most disagree with nuclear warfare because it is very destructive (too much force)
Christian Soldiers
