                  1. Its purpose is to cover the body surface.

                    1. Its purpose is to connect all the bones and muscles
                    2. Muscle tissue
                      1. Its purpose is to make your body move.
                      2. Nerve tissue
                        1. Its purpose is to warn the body of pain.
                        2. Organs
                          1. Definition: Organs are made up of different kinds of tissues that work together to preform a specific function.

                                1. The heart is near the left shoulder. Its purpose is to pump blood through the body.

                                    1. Lungs are located in the chest. Their purpose is to make you breathe.

                                      1. The rib cage is located in the center of the body. It's purpose is to protect the lungs, heart, and other major organs.

                                        1. The kidney is located in your hips. It acts like a filter.

                                          1. Definition: Organ systems are groups of organs with a common function or related functions.

                                              1. A system that controls pathways in the body

                                                1. Gives strength to the body.

                                                  1. Lets you go to the bathroom.
                                                  2. Digestive System
                                                    1. Destroys food into very small parts.

                                                      1. Adds armor to the body.
