- Food Chains show how animals get the nutrients they need.
- Clover: a type of green plant which is called producer in a food chain
- Snail: a type of mollusc which is called prey in a food chain
- Hedgehog: a mammal which is called prey and predator in a food chain
- Badger: a small mammal which is called predator in a food chain.
- Badger: a small mammal which is called predator in a food chain.

- Changes to one plant or animal in a food chain affect other parts of the chain. For example, if badgers are killed the number of hedgehogs would probably increase.
