bandura's theory is important as it
gives an in sight in to human
behaviour and morals
social theorist believer that children learned
through conditioning conditioning is being able to
learn through our past experience they can also
teach us to not do something or how to do
something
for example a child is using the glue and the child is
constantly putting the glue near the mouth the early
practioner will teach the child not to put it in their
mouth and take away the glue from the child this is
conditioning them to not to eat the glue this is
important as the first stage they will constantly put it in
their mouth and slowly will learn not to eat the glue
the bobo
experiment
this is the experiment in which bandura proved that children learn
behaviour by watching adults bandura showed a film to 3 groups of
children A B C
GROUP A saw the adult being
agressive towards the doll
GROUP B saw the adult being agressive
towards the doll and were given sweets and
lemonade by another adult
GROUP C saw the adult being agressive towards the
doll they were then told off by another adult
each child was taken to the play
room and were given a variety of
toys including the bobo doll
model and
modelling
model is the person who will teach the
child to be able to to learn new things from
for example this is heidi ray she is watching the early
year professional who is explain the activty to her and
the uses of the gloop and the texture of the gloop to
directly or be able to imitate the adult
modelling is the learning is taken place this allows
the child to be able to gain experience this allows the
child to be able to learn and be able to expirence
learning first hand
for example Rosa iis modelling she is learning first
hand the texture of the gloop by first hand this
allows her to understand the gloop more
