   • ludendorffwould have likely succeeded and so they would have broken stalemate and had a high chance of winning

      • the Ludendorff offensive was Germanys attempt to break the stalemate it looked as though it was going to work german troops got too far ahead for their supplies - the beginning of the 100 days the 100 days - when british troops advanced forwards and won

         • germans moved too fast for supplies germans suffered a lot of injuries in irreplaceable units USA joined the allied sides and helped prolong it, they could supply fresh troops and new equipment, compared to Germany's weary troops.
