String instruments

Annotations:

• We obtain sound by rubbing the strings with a bow. They are the following: violin, viola, cello and double bass.

• We obtain sound by touching the strings with our fingers or a plectrum. These instruments include guitars and harps.

• We obtain sound by striking the strings. An example of this type of instruments is the piano. The pianist presses the keys to make hammers strike the strings. These strings are in the sound board.
