of Russia and abdicated
The tsar survived the 1905 revelouion
in 1906 the tsar appointed a tough new prime
minister- Peter Stolypin. He used a "Carrot and
Stick"approach top the problems in Russia
Russia problems were not solved by the
abdicate of the tsar. The Duma's provisional
committee took over government. It faced
three overwhelmingly urgent decisions. 1) to
continue war or to make peace. 2) to distribute
land to the pesant or to wait until the election
had been held. 3) how to get best food to the
starving workers in the cities.
