1. When the purpose of the study is to explore a new universe, one that has not been studied earlier
2. Often explanatory research design is used to formulate a problem for specific investigations
3. The hypothesis in an explanatory research that states the relationship between two or more variable

4. Experimental Research or Analytical Research
