- Sits on the right side
of the belly.
- Located in the right upper quadrant of the
abdominal cavity, it rest just below the
diaphragm, to the righto of the stomach and
overlying the gallbaladder.

beteewn the lobes it 's the falciform ligament that delimits the

- Protuction of bile, wich helps carry away waste and break down fast in the samll intestine
during digestion.

- Clearing the blood of drugs and other harmful substances
- Resising infections by producing immune factors and removing bacteria from the bloodstream
