                                                    2. In the Area of Knowledge Art certainty is lost in gaining knowledge. The certainty lost in gaining knowledge is due the new found knowledge that is unknown. For example, each class in school follows a syllabus of topics that would need to be studied throughout the course, in Physics SL my class is learning about Circular Motion, if there is newfound information on the course that being Circular Motion there would need to be further studying on the topics to comply with the syllabus. The further studying would need to be done due to, if further studying isn’t done my whole Physics SL class would have a less than perfect knowledge of the course and certainty in passing the course would decrease. This is created by a loss of certainty in gaining knowledge. By gaining knowledge certainty is lost, due to the knowledge that is unknown, this is shown by the example of my Physics SL class learning about Circular Motion whereby if there is newfound information on the course further studying wou
                                                      1. Looking at Art (as stated before), Art is products of creativity that an artist creates, this with Reason is the justification of content of the art pieces of which artists create. Although by gaining knowledge of Reason, claims can be diluted to a further extent and the claims itself can be changed. Claims based on reasons are stereotypical to what the response should be to the event. For example, a beautiful painting of a man standing in the wilderness drawn by me; it can be interpreted in any way, such as happily, as man submerged in life in the wilderness, although when gaining knowledge of context new claims can be formed and it is found out that before the painting is made my girlfriend just broke up with me; then I go home and paint a man standing alone in the wilderness. A stereotypical claim to the example would be that the man symbolizes me standing alone sad in the wilderness due to my girlfriend just breaking up with me, although the actual fact is that the painting is happ
                                                      2. The area of knowledge of Human Sciences is a branch of science that deals with the psychological side of human behavior, used to justify or predict human behavior based on cause and effect. Whereby the area of knowledge Art is products of creativity that an artist creates. Using Reason as a Way of Knowing for Art there would be able to come to a better conclusions of an art piece. Human Sciences uses reason to justify or predict human behavior.
                                                      3. Loss of certainty of Areas of Knowledge such as Human Sciences and Art is a lowered understanding of the topic by an expansion of the area's boundaries. This means there is not perfect knowledge but more room for knowledge to get developed.
                                                      4. The expansion of knowledge is ever-growing; but the extent that knowledge would be fulfilled and conquered is near to impossible. Much so that expanding knowledge also increases it. The concept of that is simple, take the saying “tip of an iceberg” the saying refers to only being able to see what is on the surface. Leading to the assumption that the size of the iceberg is what is shown on the surface, however it is not entire iceberg. This is a loss of certainty by previously having perfect knowledge of a topic which is the iceberg. By thinking the size of the iceberg is the observed size on the surface, however it is only the “tip of the iceberg” leading to a loss of certainty.
                                                      5. To what extent is certainty lost in gaining knowledge in areas of knowledge such as Math and Art (or Human Sciences)?
