The main function of a smart phone is to call your friends and family and to keep in touch of them via text, Skype etc. You can also get app, games, and other cool stuff. If you want a good smart phone they would cost around £100-£500, you can get these phones from asda, game, cex, Tesco, carphone warehouse, EE, O2 etc. And you can get them online from many shops like amazon ebay etc.
The main function of a desktop is so that you can access the internet to study and to do a lot of stuff if you want a good fast working they would cost at least £1000-£6000 these computers are mainly online but you can get them from high store shops from curry's, pc world and the ones online are amazon, ebay, ironside computers etc. PC's can also be good for games as they will run on very good graphics and good framerates.
