  1. POLICE
    1. Enforces law and Investigates crime
    2. JUDICIARY (Courts)
      1. Magistrate courts deal with lesser crimes e.g shoplifting and driving without license where as Crown Courts deal with more serious crimes e.g Murder,
      2. PRISON SERVICE
        1. Punishes criminals for breaking laws and stop them from committing crimes.
        2. PARLIAMENT
          1. Between them they make up laws to regulate our behaviour
          2. THE POLICE
            1. Most obvious type of social control and people debate about how effective Police force is as sometimes they discriminate
              1. STYLES OF POLICING
                1. Watchman
                  1. Maintaining order, usually found in working class, mixed identity areas, They may treat some groups different from others
                  2. Legalistic
                    1. Law enforcement and professionalism, usually in Socio-economic areas. They may treat different due to threat order
                    2. SERVICE
                      1. Protecting citizens form outsiders, Found in middle class areas where people demand individual treatments
