Sin: The Catholic church recognises two types of sin; Mortal sins (
sins of a serious matter where the sinner performs the act with full
intention and deliberate consent) and Venial sins (sins which do not
meet the conditions of mortal sins)
sins can be forgiven through the sacrament of reconciliation
