              1. Charles then tried and failed to arrest the five leaders of parliament and failed ♡
                1. This started the war ♡
        2. Charles came to the throne in 1625 ♡
          1. After the civil war Oliver Cromwell ruled for 11 years ♡
            1. But in 1660 Charles II was restored to the throne ♡
            2. The cavaliers supported Charles ♡
              1. The roundheads supported parliament ♡
            3. People weren't happy when Charles married a Catholic ♡
              1. He also created a private court so that he could try and finish his opponents ♡
