    • The beginning of Christianity started from Judea, Jews of the region believe in one single God. Who followed Jesus called disciples. Constantine, favored the Christian God over all others.

      • Jesus's  life that were written in Greek by four of his followers, their name come down to us as Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. The word gospels mean"good news." His son of god. Jesus born in peaceful time, at 6 B.C.E.

      • Judaism was preserved even after the Hebrews lost their homeland.

        Annotations:

        • David has a son called Solomon, and he is Hebrew God. He chose Jerusalem as the capital city, and it became the center of Israel's political and religions life. He brought the Israelites' most sacred object, the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, and it became holy city. 
        1. Solomon

          Annotations:

          • He is David's son. Solomon built Jerusalem's great First Temple. He was famous for his wisdom. 
        2. Moses

          Annotations:

          • Moses led his people out of slavery in Egypt, which is known as the Exodus. He gave Judaism its foundational teachings: the Ten Commandments, which are basic moral teachings. His leadership offered a model for the Jews and Christians. He forged the Israelites into a united people devoted to a single God. 
          1. Abraham

            Annotations:

            • Abraham also called "Father of Jews". He introduces the belief in a single God. He made a covenant with God. He took his people to Canaan, the Promised Land.
