ExecutiveGovernment = Prime Minster, Cabinet and MinistersThey decide how they would like the country to be run and draft bills (proposed new laws or changes to existing laws)They also implement government policy by running the government departments.

Legislative(All members of Parliament)Examines, debates and votes on billsThey also scrutinize executive activity

Government is the biggest political party in Parliament. This party forms and tuns the Executive.

A draft bill then goes to the legislature. The more support the government have (eg members of their own party) the more likely their bills will be approved as they should get more votes.

JudicialSeparate and independent from Parliament and peopleEnforce the laws in the courts
