To express an action hat takes place in the future, we mainly use le  futur proche and le futur simple. We use the futur proche to indicate something that is going to change : je vais avoir un bébé, and the futur simple for something we plan to do : j'aurai un bébé One is about to happen because and the other one will happen. We also use the futur simple for conséquences : On va aller à la boulangerie, on achètera des bonbons.   Le futur proche or futur d'intention is easy to conjugate: It is the verbe "aller" conjugated followed by the verbe you want to use at the infinitif: Ex: je vais manger (I'm going to eat). It works like "going to", although we don't have an equivalent for "to", aller is directly followed by the other verb without any préposition (a little word like "to"). Ex: Marie va dormir: Marie is going to sleep. you need to know how to conjugate aller, it's the only conjugaison necessary... Aller: Je vais tu vas Il, elle, on va nous allons vous allez ils, elles vont   The other future is the futur simple. It's not too complicated to conjugate. all the verbes finishing with "er" or "ir"  (manger: il mangera, partir: je partirai) stay with their infinitif ending and the verbs finishing with "re" at the infinitive, loose their "e" (prendre : nous prendrons). and then you add the following endings: -ai,-as,-a,ons -ez, ont. ex: you take the infinitive "chanter" and add the endings: Je chanterai tu chanteras il, elle, on chantera nous chanterons vous chanterez ils chanteront NOTE: when saying it, we have a tendency not to prononce the "e" before the endings (unless you live in the far south of France, where people would pronounce it) which gives : elle chant'ra   Of course there are some irregular verbs. Below are some of them: Aller : j'irai, Avoir : j'aurai, Savoir : je saurai, Être : je serai, Faire : je ferai,  Voir : je verrai Envoyer : j'enverrai Pouvoir : je pourrai Devoir :  je devrai Recevoir : je recevrai Venir : je viendrai Tenir : je tiendrai Vouloir : je voudrai
