If x+2 is a factor then f(-2) = 0f(-2) = 2(-2)³ - 7(-2)² - 28(-2) - 12        = 2(-8) - 7(4) - 28(-2) - 12        = -16 - 28 + 56 - 12        = 0so x+2 is a factor   2x³ - 7x² - 28x - 12= (x+2)(2x² - 11x - 6)                      (-7x² = 4x² - 11x²)= (x+2)(2x+1)(x-6)
