B2.2 - Inside bacteria

The electron microscope uses a beam of electrons to magnify x 2,000,000 Electron microscopes produce clear image; helping us discover more about cells. Bacterial cells do not have a nucleus Bacterial cells contain 2 types of DNA, Chromosomal DNA & Plasmid DNA Chromosomal DNA is a giant loop of DNA containing most genetic material. Plasmid DNA is a small loop that carries extra information

Bacterial cells' cell wall is a lot more flexible and is not made of cellulose yet it does the same job as plant cells' cell wall. Some bacteria also have flagella on the outside of the cell. Flagella is a long-whip like structure that bacteria can help move themselves along. Bacterial cells also have a cell membrane.
