Act 1 Scene 2: Rosinella starts to show her prejudice.

Act 1 Scene 7: The theme of Love begins to show.

Act 1 Scene 8-10: Theme of War begins to show.

Act 1 Scene 11: Bridget asks for news of Franco, Rosinella is harsh towards her.

Act 2 Scene 6: Hugie's letter to Lucia gets taken by Rosinella.

Act 2 Scene 9: Rosinella realises the consequences of her actions after finding out about Bridget's abortion

Act 2 Scene 10: Lucia is in Italy and she sees the role of women in Italy.

Act 2 Scene 14: Hugie and Lucia elope with Rosinella's help.
