es recorrida por el CONDUCTO nasolagrimal en su interior se encuentra el SENO MAXILAR
ARTICULA CON LA CONCHA O CORNETE INFERIOR
el cual delimita la salida del SENO MAXILAR, cubre el CANAL NASOLAGRIMAL convirtiendola en CONDUCTO NASOLAGRIMAL
hacia atras hasta llegar a la apofisis maxilar del palatino
CARA ANTERIOR (FACIAL)
limitada por el REBORDE ORBITARIO, en su parte posterior por la CRESTA CIGOMATICA-ALVEOLAR
por abajo por el REBORDE ALVEOLAR
y por delante de la ESPINA DORSAL
