Investigation of scarlet fever is done via ( throat swab, blood works, urine test, general physical analysis ) and culture. Management is ( penicillin, warfarin, rhogam, corticosteroids ) for ( 10, 7, 14, 30 ) days. If allergic to penicillin, ( azithromycin, oral metronidazole, oral vancomycin ) is the alternative. Management should also include symtomatic treatment: ex: ( paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin ). As scarlet fever is highly contagious, person must stay home until illness resolves.
