Force

- there are two forces acting on all objects: - gravitational force
- normal force

Contact Force
most forces require contact between objects

Non Contact Force
- some forces act at a distance
- they don't need contact
eg: gravitatonal
magnetic
electrical

Balanced Forces
- when the forces acting on an object are balanced, the object will not change speed or direction

Unbalanced Forces
- If the forces acting on an object are unbalanced, the object will accelerate
