Artigos determinados (the)
indeterminados (a, an) -
a - é usado quando a palavra seguinte é uma consoante
an - é usado quando a palavra seguinte começa com uma vogal ou consoantes mudas
Exceção: começam com 'u' e este é pronunciado 'iu'
1- Regra regal - adiciona a letra 's' ao substantivo singular
2- plurais irregulares
3 - são sempre plural
4 - mesma forma no plural e o singular
5 - terminados em "s/z/x/sh/ch", adicionam "es" para formar o plural
6 - terminados em "o", formam o plural de duas maneiras:
a)"o" é precedida por uma consoante, adicionam a palavra "es"
b)"o" é precedida por uma vogal, adicionam a palavra "s".
7 - terminados em "y", formam o plural de duas maneiras:
a)"y" é precedida por uma consoante, a "y" é mudada para "ies"
b)"y" é precedida por uma vogal, adicionam a palavra "s"
8 - terminados em "f" ou "fe", são mudados para "ves"
9- terminados em "is", são mudados para "es"
10 - terminados em "us", são mudados para "i"
11 - terminados em "on", são mudados para "a"
Adjetivos Determinantes -
determinar à qual dos substantivo/s estamos nos referindo. Por exemplo: this, those, every, each, either, neither.
EXEMPLOS - 1 - THIS -
This car, here, is mine.
I do not understand this.
This house is too small for me
This is my book.
THAT -
That car, there, is yours.
I do not remember that.
That house was comfortable.
I liked that book.
THESE -
These are my things.
These articles are damaged.
I do not know these people.
These sentences are easy.
THOSE -
Those are your things.
I miss those days.
I love those people.
I do not believe in those ideas.
EXEMPLO 3 - ANOTHER -
They bought another house.
Do you need another copy?
We need another three hours.
He stayed there for another few days.
OTHER / THE OTHER-
I have many other problems.
Do you have any other shoes?
I will paint the other side of the wall.
The other people were resting.

I(ái) - eu
you (iú) - tu, você
he (jí) - ele
she (shí) - ela
it (it) - ele, ela (usado para coisas e animais)
we (uí) - nós
you (iú) - vós, vocês
they (déi) - eles, elas
TEMPOS VERBAIS - PRESENT
As expressões são estruturadas como forma Não Contínua ou como Contínua:
• Sujeito + verbo em presente (I work).
• Sujeito + am/are/is + verbo em progressivo (I am working).
