Convergence - When a device can perform functions usually specialised by other devices,
Using a mobile phone when abroad is called roaming,

Precautions to Take to Keep a Mobile Phone Safe:

Hide the phone from the sight of strangers,
Set a pin or password on a lock screen,
Lock the SIM card,
Make note of the IMEI number which can be sent to mobile service providers who can then lock the phone, thus denying access until unlocked,
Turn off bluetooth to prevent 'bluejacking',

Computer
Processor Speed- Affects computer performance speed and the speed in which tasks can be performed,
Sound/Graphics Card- Allow you to see/hear graphics, videos, music and games. Higher quality and resolution games need better graphics cards in order to smoothly run the graphics,
RAM- Lots of RAM (random access memory) will allow the computer to support more applications,
What is RAM? Ram is temporary data storage for applications and data. If the device loses power, all data stored on the RAM is lost,

The higher the resolution, the higher the concentration (quantity) of pixels in any one area of a screen,

Health Problems Associated with Excessive Computer Usage

Eye Strain,
Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI),
Neck and Back Problems,
Pains in Knees and Legs,

Ergonomics- Is the science of designing equipment so that it is comfortable and user-friendly. Ergonomic designs can help prevent RSI and the other health problems listed above,
