2. DTDC Australia is only responsible for transportation of the shipment, not supplying the item.

3. Only 1 item per shipment for personal use.

4. Packing needs to be durable since this is a fragile item and DTDC Australia will not be responsible for damage to the item in transit.

5. Insurance available.

6. The value of the item should not reach above AU$1,400.00(maximum but not recommended by DTDC Australia)

7. No Battery

8. No Oxygen cylinders

9. No Gas

10. Shipping cost is as per the weight and dimension of the shipment and its box.

11. The estimated delivery time is a minimum of 7-10 business days.

Govt of India has declared that basic customs duty will be waived if the value of the item is not above AU$1,400.00 and there will be only IGST charges applied 12% of the value of the item which is excluded from the shipping cost.

Destination customs duty, taxes, and any other destination cost are excluded from the shipping cost.

Required paperwork:

1. Customs declaration form filled up and signed by the sender

2. Bill of Purchase- Purchase bill proves that the value of the goods and support to the assessing officer to take the((maximum value of the item AU$1,400.00)

3. Undertaking signed by the receiver.

4. Adhar Card by the receiver

5. KYC( by the receiver)- KYC (Know Your Customer) is a process of identifying and verifying the identity and address proof of the exporter for shipping goods. This is done with the help of identification documents issued by the government to the shipper and notified by the Customs as proof.

6. Authority Letter signed by the receiver.

7. Catalog- A complete list of items along with the user specimen make, model & content details

8. Dr’s prescription if required needs to be provided by the receiver on request from customs by the receiver.

The customer will be contacted by the origin and destination team of DTDC in case, more documents are required by customs in India.

This notification shall remain in force up to and inclusive of the 31st July 2021.
