Die rinder werden in feedlots gehalten. Feedlots sind eingezeunt bereiche wo die Rinder gemästet werden.
Ernährung: Futtermais, Rüben, Futterstroh, Kraftfutter (Getreide) ...
Rindfleisch aus einem Rind ca. 60%
Mastrind nimmt innerhalb von 400 Tagen bis zu 600 kg zu.
Gewinn pro Rind liegt bei 20-35$.
Ein Mastrind wird ca. 400 Tage land gemästet.
