CWIP Treatment in SAP

Create Internal order (KO01-with settlement receiver as CWIP asset)
Capture all the costs against internal order initially
At every month end, settle the internal order values to CWIP asset (KO88)
Once the CWIP asset is constructed in total, create main asset master (AS01)
As usual in the month end, settle internal order to CWIP asset in the month CWIP asset is constructed in total (KO88)
Once internal order is settled to CWIP, settle CWIP asset to main asset (AIAB-where you maintain settlement receiver as main asset
Close internal order (KO02)

Create CWIP/AUC asset master (AS01)---- For this I will create an asset master under CWIP with no depreciation.

Create Internal order (KO01-with settlement receiver as CWIP asset)-- What will be the Order type for Internal order (order type--- Investment or CWIP).Its upto you, you can create as you wish, after all important thing is the configuration you maintained in the order type, especially settlement profile (which consists of settlement receiver)

Capture all the costs against internal order initially-- How to capture costs against Internal order .(please mention the T.codes and method) This is almost as usual as production order, the values may flow from MM, FI, Cost centers (any repostings/allocations), any other orders (through settlement) etc

At every month end, settle the internal order values to CWIP asset (KO88) -- This will continue till the asset is constructed. (right)

Once the CWIP asset is constructed in total, create main asset master (AS01)---What should be the Asset class for the main asset master ? It depends on you configuration related to asset classes, since you are telling its going to be a building, you might have created an asset class related to BUILDINGS

As usual in the month end, settle internal order to CWIP asset in the month CWIP asset is constructed in total (KO88)

Once internal order is settled to CWIP, settle CWIP asset to main asset (AIAB-where you maintain settlement receiver as main asset)
